Online faculty and designers are awash in exciting new cloud-based tools and apps. In this workshop, you can test-drive and discuss some powerful new tools and techniques to enhance engagement and improve learning. Technologies will include: TodaysMeet, Google Talk, YouTube AutoCaptioning, Fangs Screen Reader Emulator, Socrative, BibMe, Remind 101, ShowMe, ChemDraw, IFTTT, ePortfolio Apps, Flipboard (line-up subject to change as new tools/apps emerge).
First: A word about Power Pointless! We at the University of Illinois Springfield Center for Online Learning, Research and Service present often at academic conferences. We encourage attendees to freely share presentation materials online using web-native tools that encourage collaboration and updating.
