I am an Assistant Professor at IIT Jammu. My research interests include designing and developing secure and privacy-aware protocols for distributed networks and systems. My research focuses on the security of Blockchain-based systems, cloud computing, IoT network, ToR network, and physical layer security.

Professional Background:
I worked at CV Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar, as an assistant professor.
I was an assistant teaching professor at Villanova University, Philadelphia.
Earlier, I was a PostDoc fellow at Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center , and an adjunct faculty at Old Dominion University. I worked with Prof. Sachin Shetty, on developing the theoretical foundation for the Blockchain simulator.
I worked as an assistant professor in the Information Technology department at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ).
Before joining MUJ, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Mathematics, University of Padova, Italy. Where, I was part of the Security and PRIvacy Through Zeal (SPRITZ) research group, led by Prof. Mauro Conti. I have worked on a European project, TagItSmart! - Smart Tags driven service platform for enabling ecosystems of connected objects.
Educational Details:
I received the Ph. D. degree in communication engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. where I was supervised by Prof. Pallapa Venkataram. As a member of the Protocol Engineering Lab, my research was centered on designing solutions to some of the issues in ubiquitous networks.
I received the Masters in Technology (M-Tech) degree in Signal Processing in the Department of electronics and electrical engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, where I was supervised by Professor S. R. M. Prasanna.
I obtained my Bachelor in Technology (B-Tech) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
