LARGE PRINT HYMNBOOKS AND WORSHIP BOOKS - if anyone has problems with reading text displayed on the screens in the Church/Wesley rooms can they let one of the stewards know please as it may be possible to provide large print copies of Singing the Faith and The Methodist Worship book.

DONATION POTS following a series of break ins we will no longer be leaving donation pots around when no one is in.  Please make sure they are put away in the Ministers Vestry if you put them out while your group is in situ.

REGULAR EVENTS

Eco Church –Thank you for your continued efforts in recycling - greeting cards, stamps, empty ink cartridges, pill packs and 'spectacles’. Please leave them under the bench in the porch.

Eco news - I took 16 pairs of spectacles for recycling to Robert Ellin Opticians in Droitwich this week. They support a charity called Bird, who send some to Africa and some are used for student training to become Opticians. The Lions and Spec savers also recycle spectacles. Please leave your old specs in the Eco box under the bench in the porch. 

MONDAY FELLOWSHIP in the Wesley Room @ 2.30pm, All are welcome.

❶HARVEST - Please note a basket will be put out on Sunday mornings for contributions, to enable flowers to be purchased.

Volunteers to help arrange flowers with Pauline are most welcome on morning of Saturday 26th from 11.00am

❷HARVEST LUNCH - SUNDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER following the church service. 2 course lunch £11. If you would like tickets, please see Mary or Sandra.

Puppets - We are lucky enough to have lots of lovely puppets that are used in services throughout the year. It would be great to have a few more people who would be willing to take part in DMC's puppet ministry. At coffee morning on Saturday 17th October, I will put the puppet theatre up in church and get out lots of puppets, so come along and have a go! It's always really good fun and the children (and adults!) in our church community really appreciate it.  If you can't make that date but would like to find out more then please contact me. Pumpkin Party - I am hoping to run a Pumpkin Party on Friday 30th October from 2-4pm. We have been fortunate to run this event for a few years now and it's well attended and much appreciated by all in our community. I am looking for people who would be willing to help on the day by serving refreshments, running a craft table or chatting to those who come along. I am holding a planning meeting on Wednesday 30th September 10am in the lounge in Amphlett House. Please come along if you can or feel free to contact me for more information. ACTION FOR CHILDREN - Please give in your annual donations to A4C this September for me to bank in October. I accept cheques or cash, but if it is easier, you can ask for my bank details to transfer the money. Please do not leave boxes or envelopes around the church. CIRCUIT AWAY-DAY FOR LEADERS OF WORSHIP 

Deal all, You are warmly invited to our away-day on Thursday October 29th at The Greenhouse Retreat Centre, Bromsgrove, 10am–3pm. You can find out more about the venue here: Greenhouse at Barnes Close The day is open to anyone involved in leading worship - Local Preachers, worship leaders, ministers, supernumeraries, musicians, tech people, those who take part in Local Arrangement services, those who are thinking about learning to lead worship, etc. There is no cost to participants, and you don't need to bring anything, but it would be helpful to know who's coming, so please register via this online form:

CIRCUIT AWAY DAY for leaders of worship 29/10/26 – Fill in form Please do encourage others who might like to take part in the day; they don't need to have a regular or official role in leading worship in our churches or Circuit. You are encouraged to organise and share transport from your local area.
