LARGE PRINT HYMNBOOKS AND WORSHIP BOOKS - if anyone has problems with reading text displayed on the screens in the Church/Wesley rooms can they let one of the stewards know please as it may be possible to provide large print copies of Singing the Faith and The Methodist Worship book.

Pumpkin Party - I am hoping to run a Pumpkin Party on Friday 30th October from 2-4pm. Christmas Fayre - Saturday 21st November 10.30 am to 1.00pm - Please save the date, come bring a Friend and enjoy coffee, mince pies, stollen whilst listening to two Harpists. Our stalls will include Brand New Gifts, Nearly New, Jigsaws, Books, Home Made Produce, Toys, and Raffle. If anyone has items, they would like to donate please give them to Sandra (07770686613) as soon as possible / prior to the day,

Messy Church Youth - We are always looking at new ways to connect and engage with children and young people in church and our community. We are going to start an exciting new idea called Messy Church Youth. This will happen 4 - 5 times throughout the year at various times and will be open to children age 9-15. The first session will be on Friday 27th November 6-8pm and will be a craft session with a Christmas theme! If you know any young people who might be interested in this then please invite them along. If you would like more information about helping at Messy Church Youth, then please get in touch with me. Please pray for the children and young people in our church and wider community. Home for Good - Christmas StockiNgs for Care Leavers - For many of Worcestershire’s Care Leavers Christmas is not an easy time. Care leavers are young people who have often endured much, and some will be struggling with mental health, social isolation and other difficulties, and so Christmas is an even more difficult time for them. Some will have no home to go to or choose to be on their own over Christmas, waiting for it to be over. Home for Good would love to give every care leaver in Worcestershire (over 360) a Christmas stocking to let them know they are not forgotten and that we are thinking of them. We know from previous years that they greatly appreciate these Christmas Stockings: “It was the only present I got last year”

“The fluffy socks were a Godsend – it’s hard to explain just how grateful I was for having warm feet.”“It had all my favourite things in, hot chocolate, chocolate and a lovely fluffy water bottle, I have wanted one for ages as I am always cold.”

Can you help? Our church has been asked if we can contribute: Chocolate coins, Haribo, Christmas Stockings. There is a box in the foyer where our gifts can be left. The deadline for all donations is 20 November. This is so we can pack the stockings and deliver them to Children's Services in time to distribute before Christmas  Thank you, Stuart Watkins, Chair of Trustees, Home for Good
