Research topics

I have a long-time interest in monetary issues, with an interest in both non-conventional monetary policy and in institutional monetary arrangements. My research deals with money markets, crisis management, lender of last resort interventions and financial crises. I also have a long-standing interest in studying the organization of markets, the cause of their -more or less- decentralized nature, and the role of the generation and transmission of information.
