Observation Kit

Your Observation Kit contains:

1 microscope

1 magnifying glass

1 box of pencil crayons

1 pencil sharpener

1 observation journal

Please return all items when you return the kit at the end of your loan period. You may make copies of your observation pages.

Instructions:

Step 1: Use the microscope and magnifying glass to observe the world around you. Look at plants, bugs, your finger prints, the carpet, your favourite sweater -- whatever interests you.

Step 2: Use the pencil crayons and journal to record what you observed. Draw pictures, and tell what you saw, what you felt, smelled, and heard, what surprised you, and what your observations made you think of.

Step 3: Share your observations by returning the Observation Kit for someone else to try.
