Research Interest
My research interests are on Heterogeneous Catalysis, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Surface Science and Vibrational Spectroscopy. The supported metal catalysis (synthesis and reactivity) using In-situ spectroscopic characterizations. The study is covered with Application of Operando FTIR spectroscopy and other characterization techniques for the understanding of supported cobalt catalysts.
Presently, we are working on various industrial reactions such as cyclohexane oxidation, CO2 hydrogenation reaction, Dry reforming of methane and also on hydrogen energy. The production, storage, and generation of hydrogen. The production of hydrogen from dry reforming of methane reaction using perovskite catalysts. The storage and generation of hydrogen as metal-hydride, NaBH4/additive. The work is basically on development of additive/catalyst for solid phase hydrogen storage.
Current status: Assistant Professor, IITR
