Tanima Dutta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. Previously, she was a researcher at TCS Research & Innovation, Bangalore, India.
She received a Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in 2014. Her Ph.D. was supported by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) Research Fellowship, and she received SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited) Undergraduate Fellowship for pursuing her B.Tech. Degree.
Her research interests include (MAJOR) Artificial Intelligence, Deep Networks, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and the Metaverse, and (MINOR) Digital Forensics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and the Intelligent Internet of Things (IIoT).
She likes to travel to different places, especially to the seaside and mountains.
