Tanima Dutta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India. Previously, she was a Researcher in TCS Research & Innovation, Bangalore, India.
She received Ph.D. in Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in 2014. Her Ph.D. was supported by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) Research Fellowship and she received SAIL (Steel Authority of India Limited) Undergraduate Fellowship for perusing her B.Tech. Degree.
Her research interests include (MAJOR) Artificial Intelligence, Deep Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Metaverse and (MINOR) Digital Forensics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Intelligent Internet of Things (IIoT).
She likes to travel to different places especially in mountains and sea beaches.
