DATA ANALYSIS FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Using Data For Continuous Improvement. Utilizing the "Handbook of High-Reliability Schools...The Next Step In School Reform", Marzano, Warrick, & Simms, (2014), implemented many of the rubrics and survey tools to determine the success of categories and actions to improve principal behavior. The tool to help assist with administration evaluation tool is located here.

• Using the book "Using Data For Continuous Improvement - Victoria Bernhardt" - led my leadership team through the improvement cycle of plan>implement>evaluate>improve.
• Continuous Improvement Cycle - this document was poster sized and in the PLC learning room to remind team leaders about our focus.
• The Essential Questions for School Improvement - the key questions that guided our vision creation as well as were the guiding questions during all PLC's.
• Sample Item Analysis - It was critical after every assessment to look specifically at the items individually to determine strengths and weaknesses to adjust instruction. This is a sample Item Analysis report each administrator would provide to the PLC leaders and lots of discussions were surrounded by the student expectations (SE's). Does the activity the students do in the class match the "verb" in the objective?
• Structure data meetings - as a building principal, I met frequently after each assessment and had teachers answer data directed questions.
