Biography

Dr.S.PAVALARAJAN is a Professor & Head of Computer Science & Business Systems (CSBS), PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, Tamilnadu, India. He graduated (B.E) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamilnadu, India in 2000 and Postgraduated (M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India in 2008. He pursued Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Information and communication Engineering (ICE) from Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu in 2014. He pursued MBA (systems) degree in systems from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamilnadu in 2020. His area of interests are Computer Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks, Big data, Cloud computing and Internet of Things.

• He has 23+  years of academic excellence and 1+  years of Industrial experience. 

• Presently, 9 Ph.D. research scholars are pursuing Ph.D  at Anna University , Chennai under his supervision. 

• Under his supervision, 7 Ph.D. research Scholars have received their Ph.D degrees  from Anna University, Chennai. 

His academic excellence has been recognized and been given to act as a Doctoral Committee (DC) member for 8 Ph.D research scholars in Anna University, Chennai. He has published more than 48 articles/research papers in National/International Journals/Conference proceedings. 

• He has received  grants of  Rs 3.5 Lakh from AICTE to conduct STTP on "Data science tools and techniques in Engineering".

• He has received a grant of Rs.10,000 from the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation for the Naan Mudhalvan Niral Thiruvizha 2.0 project. 

• He has 9 software copyright protections registered with the Indian government. 9 copyrights were awarded out of 9. 

• He has 11 patent applications filed with the Indian government. 11  patents were published out of 7.
