News from 2017:

-Dr. Grice published an in-class exercise on www.ionicviper.org on a recent paper on six-coordinate carbon. Here's the link.

-Great News! Dr. Grice has been working in collaboration with RFUMS on a medicinal chemistry project and our first paper was published! You can find it online here.

-Dr. Grice published a review on CO2 reduction. Here's the link.

2016:

-Dr. Grice took 4 students to Argonne National Laboratory to run synchrotron experiments at the APS! Here's a highlight from the departmental blog. We will be analyzing the data in the coming weeks and hope to submit a paper or two based on it next year!

-Dr. Grice gave a Seminar at North Park University on November 11th!

-Dr. Grice went to Argonne National Lab's CNM to do transient absorption with Dr. Griffin and our students this summer. Here's a highlight.

-Great news! We published a paper in Electrochimica Acta! Here's the link.

-Dr. Grice attended a workshop in Cadiz, Spain on Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) in July 2016! It was put on by the University of Cadiz. I highly recommend it for young researchers interested in TEM! Here's the link.

-Two of the Grice group students published their work in volume 5 of DePaul Discoveries, our open-access DePaul undergraduate research journal. Check out their articles here!

-Our collaborative work with Dr. Jin and Dr. Karver is out in Dalton Transactions! Here's the link.

-Fantastic news! We published a paper in Inorganic Chemistry on CO2 reduction. Here's the link.

-Two students from the Grice group presented posters at CAURS on April 9th!

-Dr. Grice recently gave talks at both Roosevelt University and Elmhurst College!

-Dr. Grice gave a talk at the ACS meeting San Diego in March!

-Our first publication of 2016 is online in Polyhedron! It is a bioinorganic chemistry paper involving zinc complexes! Here's the link.

2015:

-As 2015 comes to an end, I want to wish everyone Happy New Year! We have multiple papers that should come out in 2016. Stay tuned!

-Exciting News! Our paper was just published in the Journal of Organometallic Chemistry! Two DePaul undergraduates are co-authors! Here's the link

-Dr. Grice gave an Oral Presentation and Chaired a session at the American Chemical Society (ACS) meeting in Boston in August!

-Dr. Grice gave a talk on electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction research performed with undergraduate researchers at the 227th Electrochemical Society Meeting on May 27th, 2015.

-Five of my students presented work at the Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium (CAURS) in Chicago, IL on April 11th! Info on CAURS: http://www.caurs.com/index.html

-One of my students presented his work at the Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) 2015 Spring Symposium in STEM in Tinley Park, IL on February 28th!

-Our paper on CO2 reduction by borohydride was published in Fuel earlier this year. Two DePaul undergraduates are co-authors on the paper. Here's the link. I also developed a short presentation giving an overview of the paper, which is on the sidebar of that page.

2014:

-Students from Dr. Grice's lab participated in and presented their research at DePaul's 2014 annual Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Technology showcase on Friday November 7th.

-Dr. Grice attended the 248th National ACS Meeting in San Francisco in August 2014 to present a poster and chair a session.

-Dr. Grice attended the IONIC VIPEr Bioinorganic Applications of Coordination Chemistry Workshop at Northwestern in July 2014.
