View Point: Reshaping pedagogy for programming skills (2024)

Programming prowess is crucial for every Computer Science graduate, but honing these skills requires nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Recognizing this, National Computing Education Accreditation Council. NCEAC  and HEC Pakistan are reshaping programming education. By gathering feedback and suggestions from top-notch faculty and industry experts, NCEAC and HEC are paving the way for a future where our graduates are not just coders but innovative problem solvers.

I am apprehensive regarding latest trend of becoming AI / data scientist just by doing one short course or diploma. I am trying to gather feedback on whether short courses / diplomas / MOOCs substituting need for solid mathematical background for becoming AI specialist?
