Profile: Dr Jitender Nagpal is a pediatrician working for the Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research (a tertiary care hospital in South Delhi, India), providing the entire spectrum of pediatric services, including routine vaccination, preventive pediatric care, neonatal intensive care, outpatient and inpatient care. I have more than ten years of experience in the field after having completed my graduation and post-graduation from one of the most esteemed medical colleges in India (Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi). I believe in ethical, transparent, personalized and evidence based medical practice. I am very active in medical research and am currently majorly working as Investigator on a randomized controlled trial on Vitamin D supplementation and a city-wide survey of postpartum women in Delhi. Both these prestigious projects are funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research.

Purpose:

  • To bridge the gap between medically known concepts and good parenting.
