Fiona is a Clinical Psychologist with special interests in treating adults with anxiety disorders, perfectionism, assertiveness and self esteem issues.

Fiona's approach to therapy is to provide individually tailored therapy for each person in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Fiona will conduct a thorough assessment to help identify problem areas, and with the client will set treatment goals. Fiona's aim is to provide clients with an awareness and understanding of the origins of their problems in combination with the acquisition of practical coping tools to create positive and enduring change in the present and for the future.

Fiona has been in private practice for over 15 years. Prior to that she worked for the Health Department in specialist CBT clinics. For the Health Department she has also written and conducted CBT training for other mental health professionals.

Fiona was a clinical supervisor and lecturer in the Masters programme for Clinical Psychologists at Curtin University for three years, and has also taught at UWA in the psychology department and in the medical school.

Fiona is primarily a CBT practitioner however has also been trained in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
