Short Biography

Hello !! I am currently woking as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Goa. I have obtained my Ph.D (2010-2014) and M.Tech (2008-2010) degree in Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology Surat (NIT Surat), India and did B.E in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel University, India. My research interest includes Blockchain, Information Security and Privacy, Cloud Security, Network Security and Smart Grid Energy and Asset Management.

I have established a Blockchain and Cloud Computing research lab at NIT Goa and my group is currently working on addressing the scalability problem in blockchain, creating a secure blockchain for various applications and developing security solutions for cloud computing. I have a research project on "Developing Smart Controller for Optimum Utilization of Energy and Trustworthy Management in a Micro Grid Environment, funded by IMPRINT-2C.1, SERB/DST with MHRD, GOI. I have another research project titled "Designing out of VM Monitoring based Virtual Machine Introspection Framework for securing virtual environment of cloud computing" funded by ECR, SERB, DST, GOI.

I have published many papers in reputed journals and international conference proceedings, which have good number of citations. Apart from attending various international conferences, workshops and training programs, I am active researcher in security field, and acting as an Editor, Editorial board member, TPC member, and Reviewer for many reputed international conferences as well as journals. In addition, I am frequently delivering talks on recent trends at many organizations and also explore future research areas. I have received the Young scientist award in specialization of Cloud Computing (2015) from VIFRA, Chennai, India. I hold Best Review Paper Award (2015), from Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA), Elsevier, San Diego, USA.
