In-Person Project Meetings
ALL IN-PERSON SESSIONS ARE HELD AT THE NORTH PAVILION AT THE OZAUKEE COUNTY FAIR GROUNDS.
SESSIONS ARE LIMITED TO 30 PARTICIPANTS.
Acrylic Painting Study of a Fruit or Vegetable
Two Meting Dates:
Tuesday, January 31, 2023, 5:00 - 7:00 pm (Black & White painting)
Wednesday, February 1, 2023, 5:00-7:00 pm (Color painting)

ACRYLIC PAINT STAINS CLOTHING! Please, dress appropriately.
It's basically two paintings in one! In the first session, you'll create a black and white painting of a single piece of fruit or vegetable. Then, during the second session, you'll tape off a section of your painting and paint the same food item in color.
Includes the following supplies:
8x8" canvas
Shared supply of brushes, water cups, paper towels, paper plates for mixing colors, and acrylic paint.
Painters tape
Please bring a single piece of fruit or vegetable. Avoid multi-piece fruits or vegetables such as grapes or corn. I will have extras to work from for students who do not bring one, but you will have to share.
BE SURE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE FRUIT OR VEGGIE BEFORE LEAVING THE FIRST CLASS.
Cost for this class is $10 per student
Pastel Lightbulbs
Wednesday, March 29, 2023 — 5:00-7:00 pm
Learn about pastels, the color wheel and reflective surfaces in this session.
Includes the following supplies you will use to create your masterpiece:
1 piece of black paper suitable for chalk pastels
If you have your own chalk pastels, feel free to bring them.
Use of class white prismacolor pencils, erasers, chalk pastels
Cost for this class is $5 per student
Kandinsky Landscape
Thursday, April 18, 2023 — 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Play with oil pastels while creating a stylized, colorful landscape in the style of the master, Wassily Kandisky.
Includes the following supplies:
Use of shared class oil pastels, pencils, and erasers
If you have your own oil pastels, feel free to bring them.
Artist quality drawing paper
I will supply landscape source photos for the participants to choose from. If you want to pring your own, be sure to bring a few different options for us to choose from.
Cost for this class is $5 per student
Intro to Architecture Drawing

We'll study perspective, charcoal, and value in this session by drawing some unique Milwaukee landmarks.
Includes the following supplies:
Toned paper
Use of charcoal (white and black), erasers and blenders
If you have your own supplies, feel free to bring them.
Cost for this class is $5 per student

FOR THIS CATCH UP SESSION, YOU MUST TELL ME BEFOREHAND WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON.
I will not necessarily have the supplies you need unless I know you will be attending and what you plan on working on.
