Causes of infertility are many, including irregular period, fibroid, fallopian tube blocked, polysystic ovaries syndrome(PCOS),endometriosis, premature ovarian failure (POF),thyroid function problems,sperms problems ,allergic reaction caused by anti~sperm body,infection problems ,etc.Our experienced doctors treat infertility by acupuncture and Chinese medicine to re~balance Yin~Yang,reinforce insufficiency and reduce excessiveness,promote blood circulation to dispel blood stasis, rectify hormonal imbalance, improve eggs (or sperms) quality and enhance the chances of conception.

For example, infertility caused by premature ovarian failure ( POF ), also called premature menopause,which is the loss of ovarian function in women under the age of 40, or even much younger, is common problem. Women with POF do not ovulate each month and often accompanied with elevated follicle stimulating hormone ( FSH ). Women with FSH high level can't even embark on IVF or IUI until their FSH drop to the cut-off line, as they are more likely to be a poor responder to fertility drugs used to stimulate the ovaries during IVF or IUI treatment. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine is one of the most effective treatment methods for POF. It can nourishing kidney Yin to support oestrogen, strengthening spleen Qi and tonifying blood to increase blood supply to the uterus and ovaries. Together to restore ovaries function, thicken uterine lining and rectify hormonal imbalance, therefore promote ovulation, reduce FSH level and increase fertility.

Using acupuncture and Chinese medicine ,many of those treated fall pregnant with 6 months and some have conceived within weeks. We normally recommend a course of 3~6 months.
