Biography

Ammar Ahmed Eltaeb Elhadi Elamin


Ammar Ahmed E. Elhadi received his Computer Science Second Class Division one B.Sc. (Honors) in 2001. He continues his postgraduate studies and got M.Sc. degree in 2006. Both degrees were awarded from University of Khartoum, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences - Sudan. He got his PhD in the same domain - Computer Science - from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – Malaysia in 2014.


In 2001 he started his academic career at Bayan Collage for Science and Technology as a teaching assistant. In 2004 he joined Mashreq University and University of Bahri, working at Faculty of Computer Science in both universities as a lecturer.


In 2014, after receiving his Ph.D. degree, he was promoted to assistant professor at the same institutions. In 2015 he joined Inaya Medical College - Riyadh - KSA, working as assistant professor. Since 2018 he has been working as assistant professor at Department of Computer Science - University of Hafr Al-Batin- Hafr Al-Batin - KSA.


Ammar’s research interests include Information and Communication Security, Malware Prevention and Detection System, Spam Filtering, plagiarism detection, and secure programming. It is worth noting that Ammar is a member of Information Assurance & Security Research Group (IASRG) at Faculty of computing - UTM.
