Welcome to the homepage of Alison Johnston, Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at Oregon State University.
I am a political economist and my research lies at the intersection of comparative and international political economy. I have published work on the political economy of comparative capitalism and EU integration, European and EU politics, housing markets, sovereign credit ratings and general strikes. I am currently embarking on a new project on how bond markets evaluate parties who espouse and accommodate far right populism. I am also the co-lead editor of the Review of International Political Economy.
