Victorian Wicker Ceiling Restoration

This link will show you something very rare and unique. If you appreciate Victorian wicker and Victorian homes, you will probably enjoy this. This was a most unusual and difficult restoration. My husband, Pete, was the most accomplished wicker restorer. He was a perfectionist and he knew how to do everything. He died in June 2019 after a battle with cancer. I took these photos during the restoration in 2009. This is an ornate Victorian wicker ceiling that was falling down. It was original to the house. The job was a success due to Pete's talent and physical flexibility. It was hard to work upside down on a bakers scaffold!
