01 Doug's Bio

Doug discovered a new passion in retirement. His father had a large collection of old family photos and documents to donate to a hometown museum in Washington MO. Before sending them to the museum after his father's death, Doug taught himself to scan and digitize this collection for TV viewing and web sharing with interested family members. The project expanded to his wife's family photos and he has now completed the scanning process for both families! Now comes the fun part; organizing the scans to tell the stories of his ancestors. It's not only about preserving his family history, but also learning more about his family, and honoring his ancestors and their lives. Doug is eager to share these computer skills with you.
