Our Scottish Country Dancing classes are held on a Monday evening

 7:30 pm to 9:30pm

at:

Free off road parking is available at the Centre

• Classes are £5.00 per 2 hour class or become a member to receive special benefits (see below).

• Beginners are always welcome from grandchildren to grandparents. 

• Please feel able to dance at your own fitness level.

• You don't need to bring a partner.

• No special clothing required although soft soled comfortable shoes are best.

• We recommend having a good sense of humour.

• Relax and just come along to see what it's all about.

What to expect in Classes

Each week we start with a very simple warm up dance and excercise to get us moving.

We look at our steps regularly and any formations we need to work on.

We then learn a couple of new dances and end with some old favourites.

We break each dance down, work together and support each other to understand the geography and timing of each dance, answering any questions and dealing with any problems along the way.

We have a short interval giving time to socialise.

No class 26th October (Half Term)

No classes 15th February (Half Term), 29th March (Half term), 5th April (Easter Monday), 

3rd May* (Bank Holiday), 31st May (Bank Holiday)

* practices for the ASCDS festival team will be held during the week commencing 3rd May, date and venue tbc.
