Mr. Sammet holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University and is a licensed professional planner in the State of New Jersey, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association. Mr. Sammet has also been accepted as a planning expert by the Superior Court. As an urban planner, he has had the opportunity to work within a variety of aspects of land development and redevelopment. Mr. Sammet’s experience includes working with and for special improvement districts, historic preservation commissions, planning boards, zoning boards and redevelopment entities. He also serves on the Redevelopment Committee of the NJ Chapter of the American Planning Association, and is past member of the Board of Directors of Downtown New Jersey, an organization dedicated to advocating for, and improving the health of downtown commercial districts, and serves on the Board of Planning Advisors of the New Jersey Planning Officials.
