Robert and Shirley Doan moved to New Albany, Pennsylvania in 1959. A few years later in 1973, they opened Doan's Farm and Greenhouse, selling vegetables and a few flowers out of the single glass greenhouse. Since then, Bob and Shirley have expanded to 5 greenhouses and hundreds of different varieties of garden vegetables, annual and perennial flowers, pots and planters. Since 2014 Tom and Jean (Doan) Howard have been running the business and are now the owners.
Other People You May See around the Greenhouse:
Bob and Shirley's 4 children, their spouses, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren all help take care of the flowers!
