Robert and Shirley Doan moved to New Albany, Pennsylvania in 1959. A few years later in 1973, they opened Doan's Farm and Greenhouse, selling vegetables and a few flowers out of the single glass greenhouse. Since then, Bob and Shirley have expanded to 5 greenhouses and hundreds of different varieties of garden vegetables, annual and perennial flowers, and custom designed pots and planters.
Other People You May See around the Greenhouse:
Bob and Shirley's 4 children, their spouses, 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren all help take care of the flowers!
