During my undergraduate program in Romania in 2001, I started to work in industry in a part time job in an assistant marketing position. Upon completion of my studies, I was able to get a full time job as a product manager in one of the biggest IT distributors in Romania (AGIS Computers).
In 2006, I further expanded my economic knowledge by working towards a master's degree in Economics at Central Michigan University. While at Central Michigan University, I was exposed to academic life in the US and decided that I wanted to pursue my doctoral degree. From August 2008 I was a graduate student in the Economics department at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
Since August 2013 I have been a non-tenure track assistant professor at University of Oklahoma where I teach mainly upper level undergraduate classes, as well graduate classes at PhD, and Master level.
