A limited number of golfers in each division will advance to the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships provided they shoot the minimum qualifying score.   The following qualifying spots have been allocated to these age groups:

If a golfer who lives outside of the District qualifies, his/her participation will not eliminate a District resident from qualifying. 

Optimist Districts and Clubs may provide financial support for winners to attend the international championships. The amount of financial support provided and the age divisions covered varies by District.   Financial support is provided to the older winners to cover registration fees for the Optimist International Junior Golf Tournament in Florida. We will continue to do our best to support other golfers as well.  Please check with the District Chair for details. There is no guarantee that financial support will be provided to golfers 

CADDIES AND ELECTRIC CARTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE DISTRICT QUALIFIER. PULL CARTS ARE PERMISSIBLE FOR ALL GOLFERS.


Additional Rules:

The rules of golf, published by the United States Golf Association (USGA) and subject to local modification, is governing play for this tournament. All golfers should know these rules before play begins. Any attempt to circumvent these rules will be subject to immediate disqualification and forfeiture of their registration fees.

PULL OR PUSH CARTS ARE PERMISSIBLE FOR GOLFERS IN ALL BOYS AND GIRLS DIVISIONS.
