Type 5 Volunteer Standards

Minimum requirements for volunteer affiliation with the Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Citizen Corps (DMFMCC) program.

Type 5 volunteers may only volunteer for events and incidents in and around the Daisy Mountain Fire District. Volunteers are required to commit to at least 4 hours a month and attend at least one event annually. DMFMCC recommends attending monthly meetings which are held the Third Tuesday of each month.

If you would like to become an affiliated volunteer with the Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Citizen Corps programs you must complete all requirements, in order, prior to receiving affiliated status.

DMFM Citizen Corps has established the following process to ensure a candidate is the best fit, committed to our mission, and will make a positive impact on the organization as well as the communities we support.

Individual(s) who haven’t completed a 20-hour Basic CERT (G-317) course before being accepted as an Affiliated CERT Volunteer,

will be expected to complete the next class and can only volunteer in a limited capacity until CERT training is completed.
