Biography

Kandimalla Divyabramham was born in Chimakurthi Village, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India, on August 15th, 1983. He received his B. Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from (M. L. Engineering College, S. Konda) Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Andhra Pradesh, India, in 2005, M.Tech. and Ph. D. degrees from Dept. of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, WB, India, in 2008 and 2016 respectively.

In June 2008, he joined as an Application Engineer - Electromagnetics in ESI India sale and technical branch office (a subsidiary of ESI Group, Paris, France), Bangalore, India and resigned from his duties as a Senior Application Engineer in Dec. 2010. He was a research associate at IIT Kharagpur, WB , India, during May 2016 to June 2017. Since 2017, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sri City, Chittoor Dist., Andhra Pradesh, India. His research interests are in the areas of computational electromagnetics: High-Frequency Asymptotic Methods, hybrid methods, electromagnetic scattering, Propagation modeling, antenna placements, and passive components for RF and wireless applications.

Dr. Kandimalla was one among the finalists of prestigious 2015 IEEE APS/URSI student paper competition.
