Automatic 3D Facial Landmark Based Deformation Transfer for Blend-Shape Retargeting - By Anupama K Ingale
Blendshape models are used in computer vision applications, like expression transfer, 3D reconstruction, expression analysis, etc. Blendshape models have received lot of attention in last decades and extensive research is carried out in the 3D face modelling. Computer base animations use blendshape models for transfer target facial expression to animated character. The major challenge in such animation is developing a blendshape models that can represent a various facial expression. To create such large dataset of expression, one requires a dedicated expert team and is a time-consuming process. In this work, we propose a framework to detect 3D facial land mark, which is further used to transform the various blend shapes for a given model which can be used in animation or expression transfer. The key contribution is that we propose a method for expression transfer using landmark guided deformation transfer technique.
Augmented Reality in Brand Building and Marketing -By Garvit Kataria and Team
Digital media and internet have provided us with infinite opportunities for brand building and marketing. Whenever a product is advertised, it is essential that it adds value in terms of product and brand knowledge. Good product, design, content and advertisement tend create a better image in mind of the client. Hence, there are more chances that product will be chosen by the client. Augmented reality (AR) is an innovative technology which adds virtual objects to the reality that can create real like experiences. Interactive design helps to feel and experience the product without physically going anywhere or purchasing it. This creates a strong imprint in the customers mind about the product, therefore it is easier to recall the product. It is a powerful tool for marketing and improving product/brand knowledge. The aim of this paper is to investigate the effectiveness of AR in brand building and marketing along with traditional mode of advertisement (digital and print). One of the world’s most complex and biggest industry is targeted for the study, the valves industry. An AR application is developed for the customers as well as the employees, then a survey is carried out to compare the results when only traditional methods of advertising are used and when AR is added to traditional ways of advertising.

Flutter VR App - By Neha Balasundaram
The project is a VR application to be used with a Virtual Reality High-End Head Mounted Display (Oculus Rift) to be used as activities in the therapy for children with ADHD, in the age group of 6 – 10 yrs. The application simulates a virtual world, into which the user is transported into with the HMD, with simple activities, that are used by therapists to improve aspects like concentration, patience and memory in the children receiving therapy. These activities will be timed and scored, and the scores will be stored in a remote database and can be accessed through a website.
