My name is Diego Rodriguez-Losada. I am an Industrial Engineer, Ms in Mechanics, PhD in Robotics.

My great passion is SW engineering. I love C, C++, Python, but really enjoy all technologies.

I am Conan C/C++ Package Manager co-founder, and working full time in it as lead architect at JFrog. I am really lucky to be able to work full time in an open source project.

In my previous lives I have been SW consultant (developing solutions in Python/Django, AngularJS), co-founder and CTO of biicode, a startup in which we tried to address dependency management for all programming languages with the same technology.

I also was an Associate Professor (tenure-track, until I quit in 2012) at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid UPM and researcher at Intelligent Control Group, a research group located at DISAM laboratory in Madrid, Spain, belonging to the Center for Automation and Robotics CAR UPM-CSIC.

My main research interests were Mobile Robots Navigation, specifically Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), but I have been involved in different kind of robotics and industrial projects.
