Short bio

Francesco Lo Iudice received the master’s degree in management engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in automation and computer science from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor of automatic control with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, University of Naples Federico II. IN 2015, he spent a year with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA, where he was a Research Fellow. His current research interests include controllability, state estimation, and distributed and optimal control of dynamical systems and complex networks, with applications to the fields of opinion dynamics in large social groups, control of power grids, energy systems, and formation control.
