Short Bio
Davide Salzano is a postdoc working at the Scuola Superiore Meridionale under the supervision of prof. Mario di Bernardo.
His research deals with the application of dynamical systems and control theory for the development of synthetic microbial consortia in biomedical application (i.e. development of personalized therapies).
He got a dual award PhD title in Information and Communication Thechnology for Health (University of Naples Federico II) and Engineering Mathematics (University of Bristol). Previously, he worked at the University of Bristol under the supervision of prof. N. Savery, prof. C. Grierson, prof. M. di Bernardo and prof. L. Marucci. In March 2019 he obtained his master degree in Automation Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II, with the highest marks in all courses. His master thesis focused on the control of stochastic multiagent systems for applications in Synthetic Biology, in collaboration with the University of Bristol.
