Beniamino Di Lorenzo is a Ph.D. student in Modeling and Engineering Risk and Complexity at Scuola Superiore Meridionale.
He graduated in Automation and Robotics Engineering in July 2024 from the University of Naples Federico II with a thesis titled "Controlling Complex Systems across scales: a continuum formulation of the leader-follower problem", under the supervision of Prof. Mario di Bernardo and Ph.D. Gian Carlo Maffettone.
His current research focuses on developing macroscopic control strategies for large scale multi-agent systems based on PDE control. His Ph.D. project, titled "Macroscopic control of large-scale leader-follower multi-agent systems: closing the gap between theory and applications" is supervised by Prof. Mario di Bernardo (University of Naples Federico II), Ph.D. Gian Carlo Maffettone (Scuola Superiore Meridionale) and Prof. Constantinos Siettos (University of Naples Federico II).
