Angelo Di Porzio is a Ph.D. student in Modeling and Engineering Risk and Complexity at Scuola Superiore Meridionale.
He graduated in Automation and Robotics Engineering at University of Naples "Federico II" in June 2023, where he completed a thesis about synchronization of oscillators through reinforcement learning techniques. The research thesis was produced under the supervision of prof. Mario di Bernardo and co-supervised by prof. Marco Coraggio and Dr. Francesco De Lellis.
His research focus is about synchronization of complex human networks. In particular, he is currently working on designing cognitive architectures for artificial agents that enhance synchronization between people during group tasks. Data-driven identification and control, reinforcement learning and nonlinear dynamical systems are the core methodologies employed in his work.
His Ph.D. project "The bot in the group: steering collective behavior in complex human networks" is developed under the supervision of prof. Marco Coraggio, prof. Mario di Bernardo and Dr. Francesco De Lellis.
