Notices: currently serve as Associate Editor of Notices of the AMS, the world's most widely read magazine aimed at professional mathematicians. In 2015 I became the first ever graduate student to be part of the Notices Editorial Board. These are some of the articles I have served as editor:
- [Dec. 2017] Interview with Ciprian Manolescu. Ciprian Manolescu is professor of mathematics at UCLA. He is a winner of the Morgan Prize and the European Mathematical Society Prize and a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society. He is the only person to achieve three perfect scores at the International Mathematical Olympiad.
- [Nov. 2017] Interview with Lillian Pierce. Lillian Pierce is assistant professor of mathematics at Duke University. She received a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation in 2017 and a 2017–2018 von Neumann Fellowship from the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
- [Oct. 2017] Interview with Evelyn Lamb. Evelyn J. Lamb is a full-time freelance math and science writer. She has a Scientific American blog “Roots of Unity” and writes for the AMS “Blog on Math Blogs.”
- [Sep. 2017] Interview with Kelsey Houston-Edwards. Houston-Edwards is a graduate student at Cornell University working on probability theory. She is host and writer of the PBS Infinite Series YouTube show.
- [Aug. 2017] Interview with Karen E. Smith (by Laure Flapan). Karen E. Smith is Keeler Professor of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. Recipient of the 2001 AMS Ruth Lyttle Satter Prize, Smith is interested in commutative algebra and algebraic geometry.
- [June/July. 2017] Interview with Lucas Sabalka (by Melinda Lanius). Lucas Sabalka is a mathematician working at Ocuvera, a technology-based fall-prevention product for hospitals.
- [May. 2017] Interview with Richard Laubenbacher (by Melinda Lanius). Richard Laubenbacher is the director of the Center for Quantitative Medicine at UConn Health Center. He is also professor in the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
- [Apr. 2017] Underrepresented Students in Topology and Algebra Research Symposium (USTARS). USTARS is a yearly symposium focused on graduate students in mathematics.
- [Mar. 2017] Interview with Ryan Haskett. Ryan Haskett is a mathematician and finance professional with plenty of experience in the financial world. He obtained a PhD in mathematics.
- [Feb. 2017] Interview with Thomas Grandine. Thomas Grandine is Senior Technical Fellow at Boing Company. He obtained a PhD in numerical analysis and uses mathematics (geometric design, numerical approximation, etc) to help solve problems in the aviation industry.
- [Jan. 2017] Interview with Arthur Benjamin. Arthur Benjamin is Smallwood Family Professor of Mathematics at Harvey-Mudd. He was awarded the Joint Policy Board for Mathematics Communications Award in 2016. He is known for his "mathemagic" shows.
- [Dec. 2016] Interview with Gigliola Staffilani. Gigliola Staffilani is Abby Rockefeller Mauze Professor of Mathematics at MIT. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and AMS Fellow.
- [Nov. 2016] Interview with Colin Adams. Colin Adams is Thomas T. Read Professor of Mathematics at Williams College. He is the author or co-author of many research articles, eight books, and the mathematical humor column “Mathematically Bent,” which appears in the Mathematical Intelligencer.

- [May. 2016] Interview with Melanie Wood. Wood recently won the Packard Fellowship for Science and Engineering, and a Sloan Research Fellowship. She is also a Clay Mathematics Institute Liftoff Fellow.
- [Apr. 2016] Interview with Arlie Petters. Petters was the first recipient of the Blackwell-Tapia award, a recipient of the NSF CAREER grant, and more recently was named by the Queen of England to Membership in the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
- [Mar. 2016] Interview with Elisenda Grigsby. Grigsby has won the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), a National Science Foundation CAREER grant, and the inaugural AWM-Birman Research prize in Geometry & Topology.
