I am a founding member of a steering committee comprising representatives from the Edinburgh offices of the regulators CMA, Ofgem, Ofcom, and from economics departments of selected Scottish HEIs. The committee aims to organize activities and initiatives to foster collaboration and communication between professionals, academics, and other stakeholders in the regulation of consumer and energy markets in Scotland. 

• In March 2023, under the auspices of the committee, I organized a workshop on current issues in regulation and competition in banking. The speakers were Agostino Capponi (slides), Santiago Carbo-Valverde (slides), Dimitris Chronopoulos, Michael Gofman (slides), Zafer Kanik (slides), Danny McGowan, and Serafeim Tsoukas.
