Events - Fundraisers - Contributions

The DGF Elementary Parent Association fundraises through one large event each year:

• Rebel Raffle Extravaganza

Raffle events are a fantastic way for our Elementary School to raise funds, build community spirit, and engage students, families, and local businesses!

• • Prizes for:

    • Grand Prize: The student who raises the most funds!!

    • Top donating class from each grade will earn a PIZZA PARTY!

    • All participants are entered into a drawing for a chance to win a variety of different prizes!

      • These prizes range from football, basketball, volleyball, playground ball, jump rope, and more!

    • School-wide PJ & Popcorn day!

This is our only major fundraiser of the year! We use the funds raised to pay for activities or items that would not otherwise be covered by the DGF School District. Some examples of the events and contributions that the DGF Elementary Parent Association contribution to:

• Books - furniture - STEM Materials - classroom school supplies for every classroom

• Family Santa Breakfast with students

• MCA Snacks

• Nurse supplies for Growing Up & Hygiene Presentation 

• PE equipment - music instruments - music sound systems - digital music curriculum used by all grade levels

• Playground equipment (wheelchair swing, chalk, balls, shovels, etc)

• Occasional playground maintenance

• Sensory Path accessible for all students

• Presenter fees for author visits and school wide assemblies

• School Counselor curriculum

• Bus fees for field trips per year for each grade level

• Assistance in funding field trips

• Gift Certificates to the book fair for FSA and  MHL winners

• Conference night meals for DGF Elementary teachers and staff

• Teacher appreciation meals or treats

• Stipends for each teacher to purchase necessities for their classrooms

• Staff Appreciation Days

• Backpack Food Program

• Special days with school-wide activities and classroom treats for student and teachers

The DGF Elementary Parent Association is able to also facilitate fun events and other small fundraising events throughout the year:

• • DGF Elementary Skate City Nights/Sky Zone Nights

  • Hi-Ho Family Dinner Night Out

  • Box Top Program

  • Winter Clothing Drive as needed
