Rex Munday 1930-1995
Rex joined the band at a young age in 1945 and played bass drum but also was a competent pianist. He played in an improvisatory manner due to his "good ear" and played the organ at St Paul's East Devonport.
He later made a major effort to learn to read music to aid his performances with the band. He and his wife Molly made a strong team as Molly was an excellent cook, and both assisted with many of the Bands social functions.
