At AFWA part of our mission is to empower and assist students pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance by providing scholarships for education and career development. By supporting our students, we are contributing to the growth and success of our future leaders of the profession.

Help us stock the Scholarship Gift Card Vault - Fall Gift Card Drive
Bring or donate new gift cards ranging from $10 to $50, whether physical or e-codes, to fuel the AFWA Des Moines Scholarship Fund. Your generous donations will be transformed into prizes for our November Scholarship Luncheon games, where every card translates into direct support for local accounting and finance scholarships.

Undergraduate Scholarships – To support the costs of attending 3rd, 4th, or 5th year when pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
Master’s Scholarships – For those attending an accredited College or University enrolled in a master’s program and is pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
Scholarships are awarded annually. Applications will open in January and are awarded in May. We encourage you to introduce AFWA to a potential applicant for next year and continue to think of fundraising opportunities throughout the year so we may reach even more of the future stars.
