Student Agency...a year from now
This year I have been working with one of our high schools as a "follow-up" to the Casper GAFE Summit we offered last June. It has been amazing to watch this group of teachers, who attended the summit, go from "I have a google account?" to creating a google classroom. Although this high school staff has spent the year, moving their assignments to being turned in digitally. Unfortunately they have been reluctant to utilize the assignments with their students. A year from now, through individual coaching, I hope to help these teachers utilize the projects that we have built all year long. Which means that the students in this high school will be utilizing GAFE and Chome on a daily basis to complete their digital portfolios. I am excited to watch these high school teachers embrace the power of GAFE with their students.
