Call for posters
Rationale
Presenting a poster is a great opportunity to obtain interesting and valuable feedback from the researches attending the conference.
Unpublished local research and osteoarchaeological analysis of medieval single sites are welcomed. We expect to receive posters related to three main areas of the conference’s interest: Demography, Paleopathology and Social Inequality.
Accepted proposals will be included in the conference proceeding. The Scientific Committee would evaluate all of the proposals and the selected will be discussed during a specific session.
Format
The poster must be A0 paper size in portrait mode (841 x 1189 mm), and they have to include a material and methods section, a discussion and a conclusion. It is recommends that applicants prepared 25 A4 paper size copies for the discussion of the posters.
Proposal
Send a title and abstract (max. 250 words) and your academic affiliation to gipypac@gmail.com before 30th June 2014. At the beginning of September the list of the accepted posters will be announced.
Objetivo
El objetivo de los pósters será dar a conocer trabajos locales y estudios de caso inéditos que aborden el registro osteológico medieval del norte peninsular desde cualquiera de las tres perspectivas propuestas: demografía histórica, paleopatología o desigualdad social.
Los pósters serán incluidos en las actas del coloquio.
Formato
Los pósteres se presentarán en formato A0, acompañados de 25 copias A4 para repartir entre los asistentes.
Propuestas
Enviar título, abstract (máx. 250 palabras), autores y filiación a gipypac@gmail.com antes del 30 de junio de 2014. A inicios de Septiembre 2014 se publicará la lista de pósteres aceptados.
