Aladdin arrenca!
El projecte ALADDIN vol treballar el desenvolupament del llenguatge bàsic, la comunicació i les habilitats emprenedores de adults joves desfavorits gràcies a tallers intergeneracionals proporcionats per persones grans o jubilades voluntàries en risc d'exclusió a través de tècniques de narració de contes.
El consorci està format per 5 socis (d'Hongria, França, Regne Unit, Espanya i Països Baixos): alguns d'ells tenen experiència en el treball intergeneracional i / o en treballar amb gent gran voluntària, alguns d'ells en la narració de contes, alguns en la interculturalitat. Anem a portar a terme el nostre "valor afegit complementari" i desenvolupant un marc teòric i la metodologia per a l'ús d'històries i tècniques de narració en la cooperació de treball intergeneracional amb les persones grans i els adults joves desfavorits.
L'impacte desitjat per als adults joves és augmentar les seves competències culturals, les habilitats de comunicació, la confiança en si mateixos, les habilitats socials i, com a conseqüència la millora de la seva inclusió social. Pel que fa a les persones més grans, s'espera un impacte en la seva autoestima (fer complir la sensació de ser útil), i la prevenció del seu aïllament social.
Per tant, tots dos grups poden sortir enfortits per participar d'un grup on la gent s'anima a compartir les seves experiències, valors, fortaleses, històries de vida i on puguin aprendre els uns dels altres.
La primera reunió transnacional ha tingut lloc a París durant tres dies a mitjans d'octubre; aquesta reunió va consistir principalment en la presentació de les organitzacions de la associació, així com una presentació general dels antecedents del projecte. Així, temes com les finances, el pressupost, l'administració, la gestió i la comunicació ... també es van abordar.
Altres reunions que ja s'han planificat es faran a Barcelona, Budapest, Bristol i Amsterdam per seguir treballant en aquest projecte!
Totes i tots estem molt entusiasmats de començar aquesta nova aventura del tot, i, per descomptat, per fer-los saber com continua!
Aladdin starts!
The ALADDIN project addresses the development of basic language, communication and entrepreneurial skills of disadvantaged young adults thanks to intergenerational workshops provided by retired senior volunteers at risk of exclusion through storytelling technics.
The consortium consists of 5 partners (from Hungary, France, UK, Spain, Netherlands): some of them have experience in intergenerational work and/or working with senior volunteers, some of them in storytelling, some in interculturality. We will bring out our "complementary added value" and develop a theoretical background and methodology for using stories and storytelling techniques in cooperative intergenerational work with senior citizens and disadvantaged young adults.
The desired impact for the young adults is to increase their cultural competences, communication skills, self-confidence, social skills and as a consequence the improvement of their social inclusion. As for elderly people, we expect an impact on their self-esteem (enforcing the feeling of being useful), and a break-down or prevention of their social isolation.
Thus, both groups could feel empowered by being members of a group where people are encouraged to share their experiences, values, strengths, life stories and where they can learn from each other.
The first transnational meeting has taken place in Paris for three days mid-october ; this meeting mainly consisted in presenting the partner’s organizations as well as an overall presentation of the project background. Thus, themes such as finance, budget, administration, management, and communication… were also tackled.
Further meetings have already been planned in Barcelona, Budapest, Bristol and Amsterdam to keep on working on this project!
We are all very enthusiastic about starting this new adventure altogether, and we will of course let you know about how it goes on !

Transferència d’Innovació. Líder: SPORA SINERGIES); “Youth Participation in Democracy” (Associacions Leonardo da Vinci. Líder: COMUNE DI ORIOLO ROMANO); “Emerging Literacy in Workplace: Reading, Seeing and Listening: Co-design in emergence” (Grundtvig Multilateral. Líder : SELECTICA KEK); “Working through Intergenerational Senior Empowerment” (Associacions Grundtvig. Líder: ELAN INTERCULTUREL). Ara cal esperar el resultat dels processos de selecció.
