Boeing 757

Delta has 111 757-200s. Delta is planning on keeping all of the 757s that are currently active in the fleet for now. There are several different configurations of this plane (more information below)

Delta also has 16 of the larger 757-300 variant. These aircraft were inherited from Northwest Airlines during the merger. There are no plans to retire any of these planes.

757-200 Configurations

75C

This is a charter configuration that is not used for regular passenger flights. These planes are primarily used for NBA charters. The plane is all business class with 72 seats in a 2-2 configuration. There is no IFE on this plane, and it lacks most of the amenities that the normal passenger configuration aircraft have.

75D

This configuration is the most common in the 757-200 fleet. It has 20 first class seats, 29 comfort plus and 150 economy. The 75D has AVOD, in-seat power, Wifi, new seats/lavatories/galleys/overhead bins/lighting at the time of reconfiguration, and satellite TV on some aircraft. This configuration is identical to the 75H configuration, except that these planes do not have ETOPS, which means they generally don't end up on routes to Hawaii and Europe.

75G

This configuration is found on only a tiny subfleet of 5 planes. These planes were all originally in service with Shanghai Airlines until about 2015. The configuration is slightly than other 757 variants with 20 first class, 41 comfort plus and 132 seats in economy. Like the other configurations, these planes have AVOD, in-seat power, Wifi, new seats/lavatories/galleys/overhead bins/lighting at the time of reconfiguration and satellite TV. These planes also have ETOPS.

75H

This configuration is identical to the 75D configuration with the same seating configuration and amenities. The only difference is that these planes have ETOPS, so they are often placed on Hawaii runs and sometimes go to Europe as well.

75S

These planes originally flew for TWA and then American Airlines before coming to Delta. These planes are used for international routes to Europe, and long transcontinental flights. They have 16 lie flat seats in Delta One, 44 seats in comfort plus and 108 seats in economy. These planes have Wifi, 110V & USB power, AVOD and satellite TV. These planes also have ETOPS, allowing them to fly to Europe.
