About Me

I started my teaching career in 1994. This is my twenty-first year at a Word of God Christian Academy. Started teaching as a 5th grade teacher. After, two years of teach 5th grade, moved to teaching Physical Education, and coached varsity girls basketball for ten year. During the ten years of coaching I was able to win two state championships, and one national runner-up. After, teaching physical education I started teaching all computer class.

In 2007, I went back to college to pursue a degree in Computer Information Technology. I received my associate degree from Wake Technical Community College. Then, I continue on at Campbell University in 2011 to pursue a Bachelor degree in Applied Science. I graduate from Campbell in December of 2012. Finally, I was conferred in August 2014 with a master degree from Liberty University with distinction. Currently, I am pursing Technology Education Degree (TED) with Master teacher license from NC State University.

Master of Education in Teaching & Learning - General Education with 15 hours of Technology (M.Ed.), August 2014. Currently, I am Technology Teacher at Meridian Public Charter School teaching PK3-5th Grade.For 20 years I taught taught middle school computer keyboarding, A+ Certification and computer application, and Business Finance to high school students. Other duties are maintaining server 2003 and 2008 for entire campus, maintain entire campus CPU’s, maintain school website, maintain school database and create and edit commercial for the school. Train all teachers, administrator and faculty on the school database (School Dynamics). Help teachers integrate technology in their lesson plans.
