DeFuniak Springs Woman's Club

The DeFuniak Springs Woman's Club is the oldest civic organization in this historic town in the Florida panhandle.  It was established in 1915.  The purpose is to help the town and residents with a special focus on the needs of women and children.  We meet the third Thursday of the month at 2 pm in the clubhouse at 23 S 6th Street with a recess in June and July.  Current projects are Fashions to Share, a shop which sells gently used good quality ladies clothing at reduced prices.  We organize the yearly Christmas Parade and Halloween Trick or Treating Around the Lake. Our Women of Light program honors women past and present who have significantly contributed to our community.
