I am an associate professor of economics at Brandeis University, and an affiliate of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and the Global Priorities Institute. I am a co-organizer of the virtual seminar series Normative Economics and Economic Policy, and an Associate Editor of the Review of Economic Dynamics.

Prior to joining the economics department in the Fall of 2017, I worked as an economist in the Macroeconomics and Growth Team of the Development Economics Research Group at the World Bank.

My primary research areas are  welfare economics and macroeconomics.
