RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am an Assistant Professor in Physics at Bankura Univesity since 2019. I served as the same at Rampurhat College from 2017 to 2019. My research interest covers mainly nonlinear dynamics. I have done my Ph.D. in chaotic and hyperchaotic time-delayed dynamical systems and their cooperative behavior. I have designed three new time-delayed systems. Time-delay arises in most of the natural and man-made systems. The time-delay causes many important and intriguing phenomena in systems eg. include bifurcation, chaos, multistability, etc. There are a number of time-delayed system reported in literature, eg., Mackey-Glass model describes the blood production in patients with leukemia, Ikeda system describes the dynamics in cavity resonator, El-Nino/La-Nina model, etc.
The nonlinear delay-dynamical systems are ubiquitous in nature and they play a crucial role in understanding many natural phenomena properly, which cannot be anticipated in instantaneous time systems. Owing to this fact, for the last few decades, delay dynamical systems have been attracting the attention of researchers of various fields including biology, physics, mathematics, economics, engineering, oceanography, etc. Many delay-dynamical systems have been mathematically modelled by nonlinear delay-differential equations (DDEs) that contain one or more intrinsic time-delays. The presence of delay in a system makes the system infinite dimensional, and may lead to an unstable and oscillatory system response. In particular, the presence of time-delay in a nonlinear system may give rise to various complex phenomena like, bifurcation, chaos, hyperchaos, multistability, etc
