Joshua holds a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics from the Hope College, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He is currently pursuing a M.S. in Information Science at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He is working with a team on the NSF DataONE project looking at how scientists share, reuse, and manage research data. Upon obtaining his M.S. degree, he intends to focus on applying his knowledge of research data management and the research process to informing the community of chemical researchers of new ways of sharing data (ACS, Chemical Information Bulletin, 70(2), 2018, p.4).
