Please visit the NASA Educator Resource Center on our property during your free time. Our Hospitality Department provides transportation on Tuesday to chaperones who need to purchase items. On Thursday, chaperones may participate in an outing to Bridge Street town Centre, a local shopping area that includes a movie theater and restaurants. More information on this service will be available at check-in.
You will be given a copy of the schedule after arrival. You are welcome to observe most activities provided it does not interfere with the team’s activities or team dynamics. You are not allowed to be present on the training floor during the mission. However, you may view and record the missions from the chaperone viewing room. If you elect to record the mission, you must bring your own DVD-R or purchase one during the Tuesday chaperone shopping trip. Mission photos will be available through the digital photo pass available from Magic Memories (See information below under optional purchases.)
Chaperones are responsible for trainees until orientation begins and after graduation unless the group has paid for Early Arrival or Late Departure services.
