Daniel Corey

I am a Van Vleck Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research interests include algebraic and tropical geometry. Specifically, I use tropical techniques to study algebraic varieties, especially Grassmannians, partial flag varieties, and curves. My research also meets the related areas: graphs, matroids, polytopes, and surface topology. In May 2018, I received my Ph.D. at Yale University under the direction of Sam Payne.
